RITB Beginner Runner's 5-10K Training Program
Would you like
to join our group, but are afraid you may not be able to keep up? Do you have family members or friends who want
to get into running? Have you lost your
mojo and want it back? If you want to
challenge yourself and get in shape for summer, Running in the Burbs can help you.
Our 5-10K Beginner Runner’s Program will be
suitable for anyone who wants to start running and can jog for around 15-30
minutes with walking breaks. The schedule commences at Jells Park on Saturday, 20th October 2012.
It’s a simple, progressive 8-week
training plan that will help you build from a walk to a run. By the end, you will be ready to run 5-10K at
a slow, relaxed pace without stopping and participate at Emma & Tom’s Christmas
Run on Wednesday, 5th December 2012. The first three sessions are
free, and we will ask casual participants to make a small contribution
($2/session) on subsequent visits. So,
